Do you charge any commission on Fonepay or card payments?
No. We charge strictly zero percent (0%) commission on your sales. You only pay your flat monthly or yearly subscription to Vanilla POS. Standard merchant fees from your bank or Fonepay go directly between you and your payment provider.
How does the 30-day free trial work?
When you sign up, your account is immediately activated for 30 full days with all features unlocked. You do not need to pay anything upfront. At the end of 30 days, simply renew via eSewa, Khalti, or bank transfer to keep using the till.
Is Vanilla POS certified for IRD CBMS tax reporting?
Yes. Vanilla POS supports direct integration with Nepal Inland Revenue Department (IRD) Central Billing Monitoring System (CBMS). When enabled under settings, every issued tax invoice is reported real-time to IRD servers.
What happens when the internet goes down?
Vanilla POS has true offline local network support. Even with no active internet connection, your tablets can still communicate with kitchen printers and KDS screens over your local Wi-Fi router. Once internet returns, data syncs automatically to the cloud.
